Classroom Community Updates
In Science, we explored and defined different examples of matter in all states. This week, student will continue to explore states of matter and shifts between different states. In Math, we began Unit 3 on Fractions and students began adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. This week, we will continue explore fractions and their relationship to decimals. In Reading, students are continuing to pursue their personal reading goals while we explore nonfiction! Students will continue to learn nonfiction reading skills as we read several shared texts including Freedom Walkers. As writers, students have made plenty of progress writing simple paragraphs using evidence from the text. This week, we will expand into multiple paragraph examples of writing using text evidence.
