The final full week of school has come to a close. Somehow, the end of the school year has snuck up on us once again! Our last week was so full of fun: Spirit Week, Egg Drop Experiments, and our End of Year Auction! Tomorrow will be the last day of the school year…the last day at Greenbrier for our 5th grade gators!
Remember, the 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony starts at 2:15 tomorrow! Every visiting adult should bring a state-issued ID in order to be allowed into the building using our security system. Please remember to arrive early in order to leave time for Mrs. Higgins to scan your ID into our system. There is no required dress code for the ceremony; students should wear whatever they feel comfortable wearing in front of a crowd for photos. Especially since we WILL have Gym on Monday, they are allowed to bring a change of clothes for the ceremony if they do not want to wear their ceremony outfit all day. After the ceremony, there will be a time for some mingling and celebrating with families and friends before the day is over. This is going to be an exciting day! I hope you can all join us!
As this is my last Weekly Update of the year, I would like to take a moment to say thank you for sharing your child with me! Each and every one of my students has positively added to my life this year. We have learned so much from each other and I truly hope I helped them have their Best Year Ever. Many of you have gone out of your way to welcome me to the Greenbrier community and I truly appreciate the kindness you have shown this year. Have a spectacular summer and good luck on your transition to TMS next year!
